1 cup butter (2 sticks)
2 eggs
2 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar (packed)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoons baking soda
3/4 Teaspoon salt
2 1/2 Cups Flour (all purpose)
18 ounces - Semi sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat over to 350 F
Cream the butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla and water in a large bowl.
Sift together the baking powder, baking soda, salt,
and flour.
Combine the mixtures and add chocolate chips.
Shape the dough into 2-inch balls and place them 1-inch apart on an un-greased
cookie sheet.
Bake for 9 minutes or until light brown on the edges.
