SPECIAL "The End Bear" Card
The End Bear, which appears as a holographic card,  also appears as a special limited edition card.  There are only 400 of these cards produced and all are signed by Ty!  With the card comes a "Printers Plate" which on the back says: "Congratulations!  You are one of the lucky recipients of a Limited Edition The End Bear Collector's Card.  Only 400 of these cards have been produced in Series 4, and each card is autographed by Ty.  To authenticate the rarity of these Limited Edition Collector's Cards, you are being provided with one of the 400-issued "Printer's Plate" versions of The End Bear Collector's Cards.  Four "plates" are required to print each card - one representing each of four process colors:  cyan, magenta, yellow and black.  This plate represents the cyan tones used in the printing of the original cards."

10 Classic Common Cards
(Odds 1:24 packs - Not a "Level" Card")

Classic Common cards look just like the common cards found in Series I and II but are stamped "Classic Common."

These card are not common and are hard to find.  Only 1 card per box on average.   Check your common cards and see if you have the "Classic Common" stamp on the right hand side of the card.  The 10 Cards that can be found as a "Classic Common" are Amber, Ty-Dye Batty, Billionaire, Clubby II, Germania, Halo, Lizzy-Blue, Maple, Silver, and Wiser.

16 Beanie Babies and Buddies Cards  (Odds 1:12 packs - "Level" Card)
The Beanie Babies and Buddies cards are cards with one uneven edge and half a TY heart on that edge. There is a beanie counter part to each buddie card that match up with each other.  The "level" of these cards are determined by the color of the "Beanie's Name".  The Levels  (in order from easiest to hardest) are orange, purple,
silver, and gold.  These cards consist of a Beanie and Buddy Card of each of the following:  Bubbles, Chilly, Fuzz, Inch, Millennium, Peanut, Schweetheart, and Princess.

12 Birthday Cards (Odds 1:5 packs -  "Level" Card)
Birthday cards have the name of the Beanie Baby printed vertically on the left side or right side of the card. On the right side of the card, they have a red arc with a banner that says "Birthday Edition."  The birthday of the Beanie appears on a round banner in the middle of the arc. The "level" of these cards are determined by the color to the right of the arc on the front of the card.   Pictured to the left is a "Silver" Ty2k card.  The Levels (in order from easiest to hardest) are orange, purple, silver, and gold.  The 12 birthday cards include:  Almond, Canyon, Grunt, Hope, Libearty, Luke,  Osito, Pouch, Spangle, 1999 Holiday Teddy, Lips, and TY2K.

cheeks-wild-orange.jpg (14061 bytes)15 Wild Cards  (Odds 1:3 Packs - "Level" Card)
Wild cards look a bit different than any other cards.  The level of the card is determined by the color of the center of the Beanie's Name (not the outline of the beanie's name).  Pictured to the left is a "Orange" Cheeks card.  Gold cards reportedly have a limited edition numbering on the back of the card.   The Levels  (in order from easiest to hardest) are orange
, purple, silver, and gold.  There are reportedly only 100 gold cards made of each of these wild cards.

100 Artist's Proof Cards (Odds 1:1 pack - Not a "Level" Card)
Artist's Proof cards are just like the common cards, but  have a small foil stamp that says "Artist's Proof" surrounding a Ty heart on the front side of the card.  Artist Proofs can exist also exist as Common Card (without the Artist Proof Stamp)

100 Common Cards (Odds 1:1 pack - Not a "Level" Card)(Odds 1:1 pack - Not a "Level" Card))

Issued Card (Odds 1 Card Per Case of Cards - Not a "Level" Card)
Inside a case of Series 4 cards is a cardboard insert holding a four screw card holder with a semi-transparent card mounted inside of it.  Each has a picture of a group of Beanies on both sides.  There are 5 issued cards:  6/15/92 (2 variations) and 1/7/96 (3 variations)

Series IV Card Odds

These are the odds as printed on the card packs.  Estimated odds for Autographed cards are based on the fact that Ty Warner has signed one card of each color and each variation in the past.    It goes without saying any "Ty" autographed card will be darn near impossible to get, so if we are off a little on our estimates, it means very little.  All Ty Autographed cards are GREAT finds no matter what odds we estimate!

First Reports of Series 4 Cards

SERIES 4 Card Reported!
By Noel - Guest Reporter
Thought you would like to know that I found Series 4 cards this evening in
CT.  I bought 10 packs, and I got a Silver Schweetheart buddy card, a
Silver Mooch wild card, a Silver Canyon birthday card, and a Retired Purple
Fetch Card #1184/7056!  These cards are beautiful - the best so far!
The commons and the artist proofs are like Series 3, with the backgrounds,
but now there are commons such as Groovy, Slowpoke, Orange Digger and Radar!
The artist proofs also have the same background, but being that they are
Series 4 - they look extra good!  I think getting 3 silvers and a retired out
of 10 packs is pretty rare!  (oh, and when I got the silver schweetheart
buddy card, right behind it was a red/orange chilly beanie card - so I got 2
of them in the same pack!)   1998 Holiday Teddy common card is cut all funny on the top.
I am going back out tomorrow on the mad search for some more boxes - as soon
as I find any more information out (like, which cards are the retireds, for
example - oh, I can tell you that Blackie is also a retired card) I will let you know.

I am assuming there are 4 colors, as I have three, and if Ty is following the
other series, there are orange, purple, silver, and gold.
Odds:  164 Total Card Set, including Common Cards "Artist Proof" (1 per
pack), Wild Cards (odds 1 in 3 packs) Birthday Cards (odds 1 in 5 packs),
Babies and Buddies (odds 1 in 12 packs) Classic Commons (odds 1 in 24 packs)
Retired Cards or Autographed Cards (odds 1 in 72 packs), Plus a Beanie Babies
Glow in the Dark Sticker Card (1 per pack) and an Official Club Mini-Magazine
(1 per pack).

So, it looks like the same odds as Series 3, with a few more in this Series.
The sticker cards are neat - very different from last series!

Special Thanks to Noel for the Report!!!
